Founded by Jody LaRue, a SCAD alumnus with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Arts, VFX Direct began its journey over a decade ago. Rooted in the picturesque landscapes of New Hampshire, we started as a creative venture driven by a passion for blending art and technology. With over 23 years of industry experience, Jody’s vision was to create a digital agency that was not just about delivering projects but about crafting experiences.

From CGI to Digital Empowerment

Our initial years were marked by a deep dive into the world of CGI, photography, and animation. We worked with big names and household brands, creating stunning visuals that transcended the ordinary. But as the digital landscape evolved, so did VFX Direct. Recognizing the growing need for robust digital presences among local businesses, we shifted our focus to WordPress Web Design and Social Media Marketing, providing tailored solutions that empower small to mid-sized businesses in New England.

VFX Direct is more than a business; it’s a family passion. Jody, an avid action sports enthusiast, shares this journey with his two sons – one pursuing higher education in Marketing and Business Administration, and the younger, a national-level Slopestyle skier. As a family that thrives on motocross racing and skiing, we bring the same energy and commitment to our work at VFX Direct.
